What sets it apart from most board and lodging areas is its mission to create a bridge whereby those who have more in life can share their love, knowledge, resources, skills, time, and opportunities for growth with children and youth who have less in life.    It is a place that fosters appreciation and gratitude for blessings received in life through mutual sharing.  When a volunteer gives his/her time to enable a child/youth to become educated, productive and peace-loving, not only the child/youth benefits but the volunteer and society as a whole.
