* 11 February 2010. Friendship Home was invited to attend the Future First Launch event of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited.  This was held at the Palm Grove Function Room at Rockwell Center, Makati City.  Future First is a global 5-year project  of HSBC to invest in children’s  education, health care, counselling, shelter and other means to promote life-skills building.  This project which is on its final year has a budget US$10 million.  Non-government organizations present at the launch were invited to submit funding proposals which will be deliberated on by trustees of the HSBC Global Education Trust in the United Kingdom.
