As a pre-launching activity for the Silver Anniversary of the Arrival of the Amigonian Fathers and Brothers in the Philippines on 5 March 2011, Friendship Home hosted the meeting of the Area-based Standards Network (ABSNET) West Cluster at 5^th Floor Multi-purpose area. This meeting was held for the purpose of electing a new set of Core Group Officers as mandated in DSWD Administrative Order 18 s. 2008. 

As of February 2010  ABSNET West Cluster has a total membership of one hundred ninety-three (193) non-government and people’s organizations from Districts I-VI in the City of Manila.  Bro. Luis, Chairperson of ABSNET West Cluster from 2005-2009 has been reelected in today’s gathering for another term of two years.  A total of twenty-two participants representing the six sectors of ABSNET attended the meeting.  These sectors are:  Children, Youth, Women, Family and Community, Persons with Disability and Older Persons.
